Every church needs administrative direction to serve and manage its funds. This needs to be done in an organized professional manner, but also with the spirit of Christian discernment and wisdom is making decisions concerning parishioner’s monetary gifts. They also oversee the time and talent of parish volunteers.

Job Description:
Members discern the financial needs of the parish on a regular basis, evaluate and prepare the budget and year-end report. They also oversee the CSA drive.

Time Frame:
One meeting per month, but additional time may also be needed for any sub-committees.

Gifts that are Needed and Developed for this Ministry:
Financial planning, accounting, bookkeeping and budgeting skills are needed. A good sense of stewardship is important.

Benefit for the Volunteer:
The volunteer knows the rewards of sharing time and talent. A good understanding and appreciation of the administrative needs of a parish also develops.
